Does

Here at Pierce Whitetail Farms, we are very proud of our Doe herd. We are happy to say that we do everything we can to make sure our Does are all in excellent health! They get vaccinations twice a year and are also dry wormed twice each summer. Our deer are a very important part of our livelihood and deserve the best we can give them.

We only practice single Sire breeding which alleviates undue stress on the Does as well as a clerical nightmare when it comes to pedigree charts on any offspring. Our breeding program is one of the most important assets we have, and so we are very pro-active when it comes to fawning. Ron and I monitor each pen Full-Time through a telescope, along with walking the pens 2-3 times a day.

Another big factor in our accomplishments at PWF is thanks to the technology of Artificial Insemination! We owe a lot of credit to Dr. Dennis Gourley who has been our A.I. vet for the past 6 years.
